Directed by Gary Jeffrey, PGA of Canada Class A Head Teaching Professional, the Golf Academy is another way for people to enjoy golf at Duntroon Highlands.
The Academy is open to the Public and aims to elevate the calibre of golf development offered at Duntroon Highlands, especially for the novice and intermediate golfers.
The Academy focuses on curated programs, junior programs, camps and individual as well as group lessons, serving Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Creemore, Stayner and The Blue Mountains region.

“Golf is a game for a lifetime and not learned overnight.
I tailor all instruction to the player’s personal goals, physical abilities / limitations and knowledge of the game.
It is important to create a fun and relaxed environment and provide each student with strong fundamentals and learning form before function will set every student in an initial direction.
Understanding that there is more to improving one’s golf game rather than just working on a full swing. We need to keep the process simple.”

Mikey King is a PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional and one of the top players at Duntroon Highlands Golf
Whether you’re picking up the game for the first time, returning after a few years away, or looking to become more consistent and confident on the course, Mikey provides clear, easy-to-understand instruction tailored to your goals and experience level. His coaching focuses on building solid fundamentals, improving consistency, simplifying the golf swing, and helping players feel more comfortable and confident both on the range and on the course.
Mikey has a special interest in helping new golfers, returning golfers, and intermediate players lower their scores and enjoy the game more.
