Update your Fundamentals
An early-season golf tune-up session is designed to “dust off” the rust after a winter break, focusing on re-establishing solid fundamentals, and “feel” rather than making major technical swing changes.
Session Overview & Objectives
>Terminology and Fundamentals: Checking Posture and Arm Position, Ball Position, Stance, Alignment and Grip
>Physical Activation: Waking up dormant muscles, specifically the glutes, core, and hips.
>Tempo & Rhythm: Synchronizing the arms and torso to avoid a disconnected swing.
>Short Game Calibration: Re-establishing touch for chipping and putting.
Develop Early Consistency: Learn how to accurately complete your task at hand.
For the Novice Golfer or New to the Game
This instruction clinic is designed for absolute beginners—those who have never touched a club or want to learn the basics to feel confident at a company tournament or with friends. Our goal is to build a solid foundation of fundamentals in a fun, pressure-free group environment.
What You Will Learn
The program covers the essential building blocks of the game, ensuring you develop consistent habits from the start:
>The Fundamentals: Master the Grip (how to hold the club), Stance (how to stand), and Posture (how to position your body), Aiming, Ball Position and Arm Positon.
>Short Game Basics: Gain “quick wins” by learning the mechanics of putting, chipping, and pitching.
>The Full Swing: Develop a smooth, repeatable motion on the range, focusing on contact and control rather than just distance.
>Navigating the Course: Get an introduction to essential golf etiquette, basic rules, and how to select the right club for every shot.
Fun, Supportive & Social
Ladies golf clinics are typically designed to provide a fun, supportive, and social environment for women to improve their game, regardless of their current skill level. These programs often focus on building a strong foundation in fundamental, technical skills and the social aspects of golf.
Core Program Offerings
>Terminology and Fundamentals: Checking Posture and Arm Position, Ball Position, Stance, Alignment and Grip
>Fundamental Swing Mechanics: A basic understanding of the complete swing motion.
>Long Game: Instruction on using drivers and woods to increase power and distance off the tee.
>Short Game: Techniques for putting, chipping, pitching, and escaping sand bunkers.
>Course Etiquette & Rules: Guidance on how to navigate the course, including basic rules, scoring, and pace of play tips.
Shave Strokes Off
The short game clinic for adults is an intensive, skills-focused program designed to shave strokes off a handicap by mastering the most frequent shots in a round—those inside 60 yards. These clinics typically offer a blend of expert hands-on instruction, targeted drills, and social networking opportunities in a low-pressure environment.
Core Curriculum & Skills Covered
Participants typically progress through foundational techniques for all greenside scenarios:
>Putting Fundamentals: Mastering short-range mechanics, speed control for long putts, and green-reading principles.
>Chipping & Pitching: Learning the difference between “bump and run” chips and higher-lofted pitches, with a focus on ball position and distance control.
>Bunker Play: Developing a reliable foundation for escaping greenside bunkers with confidence.
>Recovery Shots: Identifying various lies and slopes to select the best practice for difficult “save” situations.
