Collingwood-based singer-songwriter Shjaane Glover is an emerging voice in Canada’s indie-folk and alternative music scene, known for blending atmospheric guitar work with powerful, expressive vocals. Rooted in introspection, nature, and raw emotional storytelling, his music draws inspiration from life along Georgian Bay and the landscapes that shape his songwriting. After stepping away from music in 2018, Glover has returned with renewed energy and a growing national profile, including recognition in the 2026 International Songwriters Day Song Contest for his song Effervescence. Whether performing solo or with a full band, Shjaane delivers immersive live shows that balance cinematic soundscapes with heartfelt authenticity.
Mountain Head is one of Canada’s most distinctive independent acts, built around the enigmatic Hannah Brothers and their genre-bending blend of psych-rock, alt-rock, electro-pop, and gritty southern swagger. Known for subterranean grooves, cavernous bass lines, jangly guitars, black denim, gold grills, and unforgettable stage presence, the band has carved out a sound and image entirely their own. Their rise has included millions of streams, multiple Canadian Top 40 hits, recognition from the Wu-Tang Clan for their viral cover of Shimmy Shimmy Ya, and opening for Nickelback’s Get Rollin’ album release party in Toronto. Mountain Head delivers a live show that is equal parts hypnotic, gritty, and wildly entertaining.
