Get ready to play an exciting and adventurous par 71 course! At just under 6,000 yards it has distinct front and back 9 features.
Save time when you arrive by pre-signing our digital waiver. There are options for minors and guardians to make it even easier.
Get tips on how to play each hole with Golf Pro Tony Rubes. With well manicured fairways and challenging greens, the golf course is designed from level to rolling and open to tight. Water affects play on 12 holes, and magnificent maple trees line many fairways. At just under 6,000 yards and with distinct front and back 9 features, the course is well suited for golfers looking for shorter playing times.
Play left off the tee for a chance to reach the green in two by cutting the corner. Otherwise, lay up over the creek for a safer short approach.
The ideal line off the tee is directly at the lone cedar tree in the middle of the fairway. This will leave a short approach into the long narrow green.
A short but demanding par 3. The pond short and left and a narrow, back to front, sloped green make club selection and accuracy important.
With Out of Bounds down the right side of this hole, play for the left center of the fairway. This leaves a short approach to a perched green.
Clearing the pond off the tee is tempting but requires a carry of 230 yards. A lay up shot favoring the right side is the safer play leaving a short uphill shot to a two-tiered green.
An elevated tee shot, usually downwind, invites a big drive, but be aware, the fairway pinches in at 265 yards off the tee. Control the distance of the approach as a deep bunker guards the back of the green.
Accuracy not length is key here. Favor left center of the fairway. Remember to club up on the approach to this elevated green.
A well protected green that is tough to read and tends to run fast makes par on this hole a great score. Judging distance and controlling the speed is essential.
Duntroon’s signature hole! A true risk/reward tee shot. Carrying the pond is possible and leaves a much shorter approach, while a lay-up that fades to the right side of the fairway is safer and offers a good look at the green.
There are no bunkers on this short par five, but with water down the right side, trees, that force a short tee shot, and a lateral hazard beyond the green, good course management is a must. The fairway slopes down to the green from about 50 yards out making it possible to get home in two.
A carry of 225 yards off the tee can reach the fairway beyond the pond. A smart play to the left side of the fairway 180 yards off the leaves a good angle for your approach. Take enough club to avoid the pond and bunker fronting the green.
A tee shot of 200 yards to the middle right of the fairway leaves a short approach to a well guarded green with a pond close to the left side and Out of Bounds long and right.
A tee shot to the left side of this green avoids the deep bunker on the right and leaves an uphill putt.
The longest par 3 on the course features a firm fast green that feed to the back left. Play to the front right portion or just short of the green.
The uphill par 5, usually into the wind, plays long and tough. With Out of Bounds bordering the entire left side, a creek crossing the fairway 150 yards from the green and a pond guarding the front, lay up and approach distances need to be precise.
A breather and good Birdie opportunity following the last two tough holes. A tee shot that carries the stand of trees and the creek that crosses the fairway leaves a relatively short approach that favors the right side of a narrow green protected by a bunker short left.
Uphill and into the wind again! This long par 4 features the toughest second shot on the course. The two tiered green shrinks the landing area as does the raised back bunker. Trying to make an up and down from just short is a common occurrence.
One last chance to “Bomb It”. Plenty of room off the tee but a tough approach to a green that slopes from right to left towards a deep bunker.
