At Duntroon Highlands, giving back to the community is an important part of our purpose.  That’s why we have made hosting fun, memorable, outdoor-oriented fundraising events a real focus.  From having a dedicated Events team with extensive organizational experience, to also offering promotional and fundraising services, we specialize in providing a one stop service.

 
Over the last year, we have helped regional and national organizations raise over $100,000! 
 
On top of that we regularly donate thousands of dollars to local charities focused on community support for youth and healthcare.
 

Different, Better & Special

We strive to make fundraising events different, better and special.  Each fundraising event starts with understanding the organization’s goals, the experience they want to create, integration with the local food & beverage culture, preferred activities, need for promotional assistance and help collecting & processing raised funds.
 
The 3 types of unique fundraisers we’ve hosted include:
 

 

1. Large Golf Fundraisers

> Georgian Triangle Humane Society, Collingwood Collegiate Institute Fighting Owls Football Alumni shotgun starts for up to 144 golfers.  We helped make them memorable with tented tasting stations out on the course, silent auction areas inside and outside, meticulous management of contests and scoring, sponsor signage placement, delicious post game food & fun entertainment

2. Fully Managed Golf Fundraisers

> Parkinson Canada 18 Hole Tournament was a turnkey event for the organizer as we coordinated registration, hole sponsorships, event promotion, donation collection, liaising with the charity, foursome creation, signage & prizing

 

> Women, Worth & Wellness Golf event with Sandra Post for the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital’s Innovation Fund was an intimate event for which we offered a one-stop shop solution including registration management, digital marketing, gift bag sponsor solicitation & assembly, breakfast service, plated white tablecloth lunch service, participant pre & post communication

3. Great Food and Friendship Events

> Kenneth’s Walk for the Team GIVE’R Foundation– Developed together with the charity as a walking tour of the front 9 holes in small groups.   The event evolved into 6 tasting stations serving delicious food and drinks by local chefs and craft beverage producers.  There were also fun games and musicians along the way.  Everything from website hosting, ticket sales and donation collection through to sponsor recognition, musician and tasting station co-ordination with chefs was managed by Duntroon Highlands.

 

> Bands Over the Bay concerts for South Georgian Bay Music Foundation– This intimate musical performances by local musicians included dinner and your own golf cart from which to enjoy the music while distancing.  We worked with the band, sound technician and the charity to ensure the experience was seamless from ticket sales through to food and beverage service right to the golf carts!
