Ruth Bourachot brings decades of hospitality experience working across Canada at some of the top properties including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, formerly Canadian Pacific.

In 2004 she opened up Cafe Chartreuse with French trained Chef Patrick in downtown Collingwood. Many consider this Cafe to be the start of Collingwood’s emergence as a major culinary and craft beverage centre in Ontario.

In 2014 Ruth co-founded Chef Patrick’s Gourmet Foods. The delicious prepared meals, croissants and pain chocolat have set the standard for locally made food.

Ruth is also an experienced food & beverage consultant whose services range from menu development to commercial kitchen design to event management, such as Collingwood’s Whiskylicious festival.
It is an honour to have Ruth Bourachot as the Cafe’s Director of Food & Beverage. Her creativity elevates the culinary experience to a world class level.
