Memberships
Duntroon Highlands Golf Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable. We will gladly defer your membership to the following year if there are exceptional circumstances.
Exceptional circumstances may be considered for refund
- Any member that sustains an injury or illness prior to July 1stof the current golfing season and is unable to golf for the balance of the season may receive a full membership deferral to the following season.
- No deferral will be considered for any injury occurring on or after July 1st.
Improper Conduct
As determined by the discretion of Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd management team, any person whose conduct, or whose guest’s or family’s conduct is determined to endanger the welfare, safety, harmony or good reputation of Duntroon Highlands or its members, guests and staff, or is otherwise improper, may be reprimanded, suspended or expelled from Duntroon Highlands and have all privileges associated with the membership or guest privileges suspended or revoked. Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd reserves the right to be the sole determinant and judge of what amounts to improper conduct; however, improper conduct will include, amongst other types of conduct:
I. Default in member or guest obligations, including non-payment of outstanding dues, fees or charges.
II. Not adhering to directives, rules and policies outlined by Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd.
III. Providing false information on the Membership Application or any other agreements entered into with Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd
IV. Abusive treatment of Duntroon Highlands’ employees.
In the event Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd. takes disciplinary action against a member or guest, Duntroon Highlands may restrict some or all of a member’s family and guests privileges.
Improper conduct by any member or guest will result in termination of membership or guest privileges without refund.
Green Fees
There are no monetary refunds in the event of cancellations. You may reschedule your tee time or receive a promo card credit for the amount paid for use during the current calendar year. Depending on when you reschedule your tee time, upgrade charges may apply. Failure to show for a tee time without prior notice will not receive a credit.
Frex Pack Cards
There is no refund for flex pack cards. If, due to medical reason, the purchaser is unable to golf for the remainder of the season, the equivalent value of the unused portion of the card can be used towards purchasing a Flex Pack Card for use during the same calendar year. Or, the unused dollar value of the card can be used as a deposit towards a Frex Pack Card or Membership for the following calendar year / golf season (can only be purchased after September 1).
Promo Cards
There is no refund for Promo cards and they are only valid for the calendar year in which they were issued. They can be used towards the purchase of a Frequent Player Card or Membership for the following year (after September 1).
Merchandise
If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise purchased from the Duntroon Highlands Pro Shop, please contact us immediately. We are committed to providing complete customer satisfaction. We accept returned merchandise provided it is returned, with receipt, to Duntroon Highlands within 10 days of the original purchase date. You may return it for a prompt exchange, credit, or refund within 10 days of the original purchase date as long as all merchandise is returned in new condition (unused and in original factory condition), with all original boxes (including all packaging materials), documentation, instructions, and accessories. All returns must be brought to Duntroon Highlands in person and with the card used for the purchase (if purchased by credit or debit card) and are subject to our inspection and approval. Personalized and custom items are non-refundable.
Camps & Clinics
Camps and Clinics registration is refundable up to 21 before the start date. Within 21 days of start date, there are no refunds. If there is an exceptional medical reason, we will provide you with a credit for another session.
Lessons
48-hour cancellation is required for a full refund.
If the course is closed due to inclement weather, we will reschedule the lesson or provide players with a refund or credit.
Rain Check Policy:
- 1. Rain checks are only issued on the day of play. Anything prior is considered a rescheduled tee time. Depending on when you reschedule upgrade charges may apply.
- 2. In the event that lightning or excessive rain warrants closing the course and ending play (the club deems the course unsafe) all players will receive rain-checks equivalent to the last 9 holes played. In other words, players not completing 9 holes will receive an 18-hole rain-check and those on their second nine holes will receive a 50% rain-check of the value paid that day.
Tournament & Special Events
Tournaments and Special Events cancelled more than 21 days prior to the event date are eligible for a refund, less the deposit. Tournaments and Special Events cancelled within 21 days will be billed for staff time and food purchased up to an amount of 80% of the contract.
Refund Fee
Any refunds requested by the customer will be charged a processing fee equal to the 3% of the final purchase price (including applicable taxes). This fee will be subtracted from the total amount refunded.
