Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd., respects the privacy of our members, customers, visitors, and website users and are committed to protecting such privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”).

This Policy applies to Personal Information collected by us on and through www.duntroongolf.ca, and via our social media channels: Facebook and Instagram, and through the provision of our services to you, and it explains how we use and disclose this information.

For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” is id defined as personally identifiable information about an individual person including, but not limited to, a person’s name, physical address, email address, birth date and gender, as more particularly described under applicable Canadian privacy laws. It may be collected by us or by a third-party service provider acting on our behalf.

We intend to keep Personal Information only as long as it is required to satisfy the purpose for which it was collected and we regularly destroy Personal Information that is no longer required.

We provide you with the right to access and update your Personal Information or to require their deletion. Anonymous Information & “Cookies”

We may collect anonymous information from the Websites, such as pages you visit and searches you perform.  In doing so, we may install “cookies” that collect the first domain name level of a user and the date and time of access. Cookies by themselves are not used to discover the identity of a user. If you wish, you may set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, and this will enable you to determine whether to accept it or not.

Spamming

We do not condone “spamming”. Spamming is the practice of sending unsolicited emails in large numbers and repeatedly to individuals with whom the sender has had no previous contact or who have declined to receive communications. Rather, where we believe that certain product, service or other information may be of interest to you, we reserve the right to inform you by email, but we will give you the choice of opting out of such communication.

Personal Information & Children

The Websites are general audience websites and not directed to use by children. We do not intend to collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18. As you browse our site, advertising cookies will be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in.
